Expanding family-backed direct investment platform adds two to growing team
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – January 10, 2019 – Carlson Private Capital Partners (“CPC or CPC Partners”), a privately held middle-market investment firm formed by the Carlson family, is pleased to announce the addition of Emma Gergen as a Vice President and Ali Stewart as an Associate.
Emma joins CPC from Norwest Equity Partners where she was responsible for underwriting and executing middle market transactions in support of growth financings, recapitalizations and leveraged buyouts. Emma also worked closely with management teams to oversee investments across a variety of industries. Emma graduated from the University of Notre Dame and received her MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Previously Ali was an analyst at Northwestern Mutual Capital where she worked on the investment team evaluating and executing numerous private debt and equity transactions. Ali graduated, magna cum laude, from Boston College.
Emma and Ali join Andy Cantwell, Managing Partner, and Taylor Moore, Partner, who launched the firm in mid-2018 after spending twelve years at Norwest Equity Partners in Minneapolis.
